Craven Arms Men's Chorus

The Chorus was founded in 1961 by Basil Cullum, who remained with the choir as its Musical Director for over 40 years, until he retired in 2003.    The choir appreciated all that Basil did for the choir and his wonderful skills as a conductor and entertainer.  Sadly Basil passed away in Dec 2003.

The baton has now passed to Colin Reeves, who had been the choir's accompanist for over 30years. Colins musical abilities have been a great asset to the choir over the years and with his direction it has gone from strength to strength adding to what Basil had established.

Although the choir aims to achieve musical excellence it doesn't aim to enter competitions, but rather enjoy itself (and hope to entertain its audiences).  It has a number of achievements to its credit - including winning a cup, singing on radio and television, performing with famous artists like Owen Brannigan and, most importantly raising many thousands of pounds for charitable causes.

New members, with or without experience, are always welcome.  If you enjoy singing and like a good tune, give it a go!

(you don't have to be able to read music.)
